REVIEWED BY J.M. NORTHUPWonderfully Engaging
This book was a delight. It had everything I love – adventure, magic, prophecy, fairies, history, friendship, and family. There is so much to offer as the plot thickens, and the tale reveals a rich intriguing read.
The author did a wonderful job taking us a step back in time, setting the story in 1991. She also brilliantly weaves fascinating tidbits of history and lore into the story in engaging ways relevant to the characters. She made it natural and enhanced the experiences.
I can’t wait to move on to the next book in the series. The excitement just keeps heightening as The Wise One awakens. Of course, this is a must-read!!!

REVIEWED BY SAHARA FOLEYInteresting but only So-So
I found this book through a book tour. I’d never heard of the author, but the blurb sounded interesting and it had lots of ‘awards’, it was in Kindle Unlimited, so I thought I’d give it a try.
First off, I really liked the idea of a worm hole being in a conch shell and that’s how travel to our planet was done. Second, I also liked that toward the end, we go to the Grand Canyon and it ties in with the Hopi Ant People.
As with other readers, though, I found myself liking and hating the story. There were times I felt connected to the characters. I did have a tear in my eye at the end. However, mostly there was no connection. There were actions that Skye did I felt most people would’ve questioned. Or in the case of the ex-girlfriend, why did she believe her? I sure didn’t.
And a lot of situations seemed to pat and contrived to advance the storyline. Like in the cave. They had to crawl on hands and knees to get into the cavern, yet, suddenly, there’s all this equipment in there and they leave on an ATV. Really?
It can be an entertaining story if you’re not too analytical. For me, I give it a solid 3 stars.

REVIEWED BY KAREN J. MOSSMANI Recommend This Book!
This came to me in an email from Amazon and as it was a short story and by such a distinguished author, I downloaded it.
The writing is extremely sharp as we follow two detectives into a high rise multi story block of flats. Inside they find the night shift security porter lying dead in reception.
The two detectives, Gish and Milton begin their enquires looking into the lives of the small bunch of residents who live there. All of them important people and some with secrets they don’t want to share.
The only thing I didn’t like is there were no chapters, therefore no place to stop and start. With eighty six pages, it needed them.
I enjoyed this tale, it was concise and easy to read. I loved that it was a quick read and that it was in Kindle Unlimited. I recommend this book and it’s get the full five stars.
