I didn’t begin drinking alcohol until I was 36 years old, and now, I am a happy wine drinker. A big reason is because I have a lot of gastric issues and red wine is healthy for a person like me. Actually, it is beneficial for all of us to drink in moderation. So, as we come upon National Drink Wine Day, I will celebrate with a thankful heart. Afterall, this observance is about recognizing and appreciating the way wine can improve your health.

I am not a big drinker, though I do love wine. I particularly enjoy Barefoot Riesling and lovely red blends, such as Ménage à Trois offers. A rich Malbec is a delight, especially from Trapiche. Just remember to drink water in equal parts and exercise moderation.
“Observe due measure; moderation is best in all things.”
