That’s #PUN-ny: Turtles

I like turtles. I’m not apt to go touching them, but I’m not really into messing with wildlife in general.
I think the story about the tortoise and the hare encouraged my love for turtles. I didn’t like the egotistical attitude of the hare, but I loved the optimism way the turtle stayed steady and true.
Being Cherokee, I am Iroquois. The Iroquois and Lenape believe the world is sustained on the back of a turtle. They respect their perseverance and longevity. How cool is that?
