Meet Cammie

MEET MY CHARACTER

  • Tell us about your story:
    • What is the name of your book?
    • What genre is it?
      • Literary Fiction
    • When and where is your tale set?
      • New York City, opening in an off-Broadway Theatre
  • Who are you?
    • What is your name?
      • I’m Cammie
    • Are you a fictional or historical character?
      • I’m fictional. It makes sense, since I spend a lot of time living in my dreams.
    • What’s your role in the story – are you the protagonist or a supporting character?
      • I’m the protagonist, but wouldn’t anyone say that about themselves?
    • Are you a human, animal, alien, robot, or something completely different?
      • I wonder that myself sometimes, but I’m still human, still a girl.
    • Do you consider yourself to be good, bad, or indifferent?  Would others agree with this assessment – why, or why not?
      • I’m trying to be good. I don’t always succeed. I think I’ve gotten better at it toward the end of the story.
  • What do we need to know about you?
    • What is your personal goal?  I mean, what do you ultimately want?
      • I want to dance on Broadway!
    • What is standing in your way?  What conflict(s) do you face?
      • I’m getting a bit old for the roles. I can still dance circles around anyone, but I’m not the hot young thing anymore.
    • Why is this goal important to you?  What’s your motivation?
      • I want to honor the little girl who dreamed of being in stage lights.
    • If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be, and why?
      • I wish I was braver. If I’d been brave and done this ten years ago, a lot of things would have been different.
  • How do I get a copy of your book?
    • Is it available now, or when can we expect to see it released?
      • My story was released last year, so it is available anywhere books are sold.
    • Where can readers learn more about you?
