Trivia – Old or New?

January 4th is National Trivia Day. As a nerdy girl who loves the useless bits of facts and history that IS trivia, I really appreciate today’s celebration. It is well known that the content is useless data – more culturally and emotionally significant than anything else because it is a way to bind us together in a fun and festive way. To illustrate my point, and to highlight one of my “Sheldon Moments” (as I like to call them), I learned that the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point hosts the world’s largest trivia contest right here in my own backyard.

Now, that just makes me happy!
