I like chickens, but my appreciation has grown since watching my kids and grands raise for them. The joy brought into their lives playing with and caring for these feathered dinosaurs is a gift. These are the simple pleasures that bring great peace and happiness to a life that city life has taken from us. It is nice to step away and watch the simple moments of everyday.

You never know what you’ll find on the shelves of a book store or in library. Often there are some great treasures and lots of laughs.
