Unexpected
This was a unique short story. It offers thrills for readers who enjoy a psychological thriller mixed with a taste of magic. I want sure if it was a fantasy, dark fairy tale, or crime story. You’ll have to read it you find out!
I like how the author played on stereotypes and paranoia. The human psyche adds a new level of mystery particularly where the relationships are involved. Those conversations we hold with ourselves about about loved ones as we make choices and take actions.
I recommend this book. It’s fast but furious. It is great entertainment for commute, waiting in line, or just a weekend coffee/tea.
