#BooksForTheHoliday – Readers, Celebrate National Pet Memorial Day

The second Sunday in September was established to be the National Pet Memorial Day. It was begun in 1972 by the International Association Of Pet Cemeteries & Crematories (IAOPCC), though it doesn’t seem to be an ‘official‘ holiday. Still, it is a special time to show love to the amazing pets who have enriched our lives and souls.

I am a cat lady.

I was the mother to four amazing cats – Anya, Olga, Boris Gregori, and Emma. We had many blessed years together, and they were a source of great joy to my entire family. However, they have returned to our Creator.

As a writer, I have penned a book in memory of my cats, Boris and Olga. I have one planned for Anya and Emma, though it has yet to find its way onto the pages. Still, my beloved fur babies live in my heart always. Not a day passed when I don’t cherish the thought of them and what they mean to me.
