My Book Review of The Fall Risk: A Short Story

I Devoured This Short!

What a gem! I devoured this short story. It charmed me from cover to cover.

The pacing was brilliant. I wasn’t sure how it would play out being short, but it was delightful. The story arc and relationships felt natural. I caught myself smiling often in response to my reading.

It was easy to get lost in this quick story. It had a little of everything – humor, heat, and thriller. Since it’s February, it was appropriate to have mention of Valentine’s Day, but this isn’t a holiday tale. It was more than a romcom, too. It was about empowerment and friendship.

I found this a truly pleasurable read. I am torn between saying this was a perfect bite-size book and wishing for more. I guess, in the end, I’ll say this was perfect, but I hope there’s more books with these characters. They are great!
