REVIEWED BY J.M. NORTHUPAn Enjoyable Read
This story was even cuter than I hoped. I giggled aloud many times and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was everything a formulated HEA romance should be, but with such a sweet, charming air. It gave the magic to the season.
I loved the characters Griff, Caroline, and Olivia. They are endearing. Then comes Carl… These are people I’d genuinely want for friends. They made the story so authentic and fun.
The alien spin was great. It was easy to believe, considering how the world is today with social media, influences, and even the interest in alien disclosure. The author’s response felt appropriate and in lined with historical accounts for populating new lands. Plus, marriage is always the best way to strengthen allegiances, so a bridal program would have many advantages.
I recommend this book. It’s fun and humorous. There’s enough depth to give it texture, but it’s light enough to simply appreciate for the fun holiday read it is.

REVIEWED BY J.M. NORTHUPWonderful Holiday Romance
I read book 1 in this series, so when this installment hit, I grabbed it. It was perfect timing since it’s the Christmas holiday season, and I spy New Year’s around the corner. For me, it brought some fun and laughter to my holiday reading.
I loved Griff and Caroline from book 1, which is where we were introduced to Olivia. Getting to know her better was wonderful. Being about to meet Ruune and share in their whirl wind romance (real or fake) was a treat. After all, the charming characters really made the story so moving.
What I valued was the friendships and mutual respect amongst everyone. Despite different species, values, cultures, etc., there was acceptance. A person was just a person. Love was just love.
I recommend this book (and series). It appears to be set up for a possible third, maybe? If so, I’m all in!
