My Book Review of Every Little Kindness

The Little Girl Who Lost Her NameEvery Little Kindness by Marta Bartolj
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Moving Picture Book

This is a picturebook appropriate for middle graders. It tells a story of “paying it forward.” The plot tells how kindness comes full circle; what you do and say is contagious and comes back around.

I enjoyed this book. I felt the illustrations did a great job conveying the story. It was unconventional not to have text, but I do think it worked. It was the whole “a picture says a thousand words.”

This would be a great book to build creativity in kids. You could have them write the story. How incredible to make new memories, fresh tales each read, and original conversations about life.
