Good Message But Alittle Choppy
What a sweet book. Great illustrations and wonderful message about what friendship is. The character selections of non-standard pets to show prejudice and inclusive was subtle, but brilliant.
My only complaint is the story felt choppy. Often, there wasn’t a smooth transition from page to page. It left me feeling like I’d missed text, even though I hadn’t.
Overall, this is a sweet book and kids should enjoy it. It fits the middle grade audience of 8-12 and older.
