My Book Review of BOOMER SEES THE TOWN: The Curious Bunny Book 1

schoolBoomer Sees The Town: The Curious Bunny Book 1 by Diann Floyd Boehm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this story. I love how it brings the senses into play, and how Boomer the bunny uses his visual cues to explore his town. I think this is a lovely way to connect with younger readers, helping to engage them. I think it is a great way to help connect the words to the story, as well, enhancing the reading experience.

The thing I love most about this book is the smiles it brought to my grandson’s face. He not only loved Boomer, but was excited to share it with other kids. He said it was a good story with a cute bunny, but he also liked looking for all the other critters I’d hidden in the images.

I was honored to be the editor and one of the graphic designers for this book. It was a privileged to help bring this bunny alive, especially as my grandchildren sat with me and gave me feedback. The delight they shared with me was joy to my heart!
