#NorthupNews – Religious & Cosmic Pluralism

On our Norns Triad Publications blog, I have feature called, Julie’s Jewels. I use it to share tidbits about my life, which I tie into book suggestions (because you know I love books). I thought it might be fun to do something similar here. Hence, the birth of this series, #NorthupNews.

The cool thing is that my partners, Sahara Foley and Karen J. Mossman, have similar features on Norns Triad Publications. It is a way for us to connect with our readers. Hopefully, it is as interesting to you as it is for us.

Not everyone will agree with me, and that is fine.
However, think of how interesting the topics are… and what great books you can find!

I think we all pray to the same Creator regardless of what name we use. I think each religion has value, purpose, and truth. I also think humans have used religion in twisted ways to hurt each other or for propaganda in pursuit of greed and gain. This is why we have faith and grace, after all. Some consider this ideology to be religious pluralism.

If we fight about the diverse beliefs on Earth, what if aliens are real? Then we are talking about the proof of COSMIC pluralism, which most of the American founders believed in. It is also supported by the idea of an omnipotent God.

Norse cosmology had 9 worlds around a cosmic the tree, Yggdrasil. Native American’s generally have an all-powerful Creator and their cosmos is holy, not human. What about the Hindu Vedas and the Akashic Record?

To me, this means God/The Creator reveals His/Herself to each person as They want. Trying to put Them into a box is wrong and beyond our comprehension. We don’t know what existed before us or what is there after. All we know is what we are experiencing now, so shouldn’t we make the best of it? Try to be the best we can?

If God is omnipotent, al things were brough into existence by The Creator, which includes other planets and lifeforms. Yep, that would mean aliens, too. This would mean that God is not negated by the truth of this reality, but rather, His or Her greatness would be reiterated.

My reason for this post is to say STOP FIGHTING. If your faith makes your life better, good! That is what it is supposed to do. It is not meant to tear us apart nor give us cause to do harm. Actually, most religions say to live in peace and show mercy TO ALL! Furthermore, the concepts of religious and cosmic plurality are just fascinating, so get your read on!!!!
