REVIEWED BY TIFFANY“Why are we always so surprised when God gives us something we’ve been praying for? It’s like we don’t believe he’s actually listening.”
“To quote a popular fiction that feels rather appropriate, ‘I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.”
I absolutely loved every second of this book! Izzy and Brodie are the absolute sweetest, cutest couple and I enjoyed every second of their love story, even when it was making me cry. And, really, they weren’t the only amazing characters in this story!
I loved every single one, even though Josephine and Anders kinda made me want to slap them a few times, especially Anders. I truly loved the interactions between Izzy and Brodie and between Izzy and her cousins. Luke and Penelope are absolutely delightful so I’m so glad that the series continues and I get to see them both find their happily ever after.
The entire concept was original and I enjoyed that most of the story was told through emails and texts between the characters. It was a fun way to really show how everyone was feeling and their thought processes.
All in all, this was such a fun, sweet, well told story and I can’t wait to read more by this author!

REVIEWED BY THERESA HULONGBAYANReprint of the original 4 book series in 8 editions.
A great first part of a phenomenal series about the founding of the Iroquois confederacy. This edition allows the reader to find out about the research and historical references used to create the story. This first part of the series is the most terrifying, as the political events before the confederacy are far more violent and disturbing.
The switching view point from kidnapped children, to their concerned and determined parents add to the heightened terror of the times and places, as both contend with their fears and hopes. The characters are set up in the series with each being slowly introduced along with the political atmosphere. Their personal struggles, and those of their clans is clearly defined. It draws the reader in, making each character important, and this will bring them through the series.
Very Graphic and Horrific in context.

REVIEWED BY DIANN FLOYD BOEHM“None of us had the slightest inkling that something so monstrous had occurred, rewriting all our destinies, setting into action a series of events that would ultimately end, four days later, in murder. This is where the countdown began.”
While I did enjoy this book, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It’s been on my tbr for a bit but it’s another that I started reading because of a book club. It dragged in places and Elliot was right about being “an unreliable narrator.”
All of the characters were well written, even though they were intrinsically just unlikable at their core. All of them were horrible, manipulative people, except for Lana and her son. But, that made the story more interesting. I spent most of the book not only wondering who the victim would turn out to be and hoping it would be one particular character.
The story had a lot of twists and turns which kept me guessing. I really enjoyed that we didn’t know until the very end who was going to be killed. While Elliot really was an unreliable narrator in that he keeps twisting back on his own story, I liked the conversational way he told the story, like he was trying to include the reader. I am glad I read The Fury, and can see myself reading more by this author.

REVIEWED BY ROB JONESJustin Wiggins has done it again. His book, Artists, Myth, & Hope, is nothing but astonishing. This collection of essays and stories gives an intriguing and insightful look into the lives of authors and poets and how their works have impacted, shaped, influenced, and transformed Mr. Wiggins and so many others.
C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, John Donne, T.S. Eliot, Marilynne Robinson, George MacDonald, and Madeleine L’Engle are just a few who have inflamed his imagination and inspired him to become a prolific and talented writer.
Justin is a guide who takes the reader on a journey into these writers’ lives and helps us become better acquainted with them, which engenders a longing for the reader to want to learn and read more about them. He asks us why their works are so important and what we can learn from them. I love Justin Wiggin’s writings because he infuses his books with knowledge and information. I am always informed and learn so much from his in-depth writings. This book is no different.
Justin Wiggins, your unique writing style is astounding. You are one of one.
I highly recommend this book. It is thought-provoking and soul-enriching.

REVIEWED BY TIFFANYI really enjoyed this book! It was well thought out and well paced. It was a different take on the vampire myths. I was pulled in from the very beginning and Walt’s story had me enthralled to the very end.
Walt is such a likeable character in such a horrible position. He finds out that not only do vampires exist, his blood and DNA are absolutely horrifically fatal to them. He finds himself being poked and prodded and used to try and eradicate vampires. But, he starts to realize that they not only used to be people, they could possibly have the potential to be people again.
I loved how he was kind, no matter what but still managed to set limits and hold to them. He had such a strong sense of ethics.
I just really enjoyed Walt as a character and that made the story even more enjoyable. Really, I liked so many of the characters and could relate to why they felt the way they did.
I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone who likes vampire stories.
