Unique Story – Fun & Engaging
What a unique book. The idea of incorporating maps into the story made this tale come alive in new ways. More so, it added another level of engaged learning.
I read this with my 7 yo granddaughter as a bedtime story. It was fun for both of us. I read the text and she either looked for the hidden hen or followed the directions on the map. It made the interactive experience entertaining as we experienced the story in full illustrated color.
I think there’s enough here to keep a younger child engaged while being read to. However, the reading level is great for early readers, such as my granddaughter. It is also entertaining for adults reading with their youngsters.
