Their timely response helps save the day, and the conversation that follows the incident teaches the group of friends important lessons about caring for each other and avoiding wrongdoing.

Shelly Pearl and J.M. Northup do a good job of presenting the lessons in a way that children will understand and appreciate. The authors utilize a casual tone and simple words that children will find familiar and relatable. The colorful illustrations correspond with the story and perfectly depict the characters. The colors are bright, making the book look vibrant and sparkly. My favorite character was Ceekee’s seahorse Lilypad. Her rainbow mane and cute features made me fall in love with her. The book is a must-read for anyone who loves children’s stories with beautiful creatures and a moral. Overall, this is great work, and I cannot wait to read more from these authors.
