A Story Of Empowerment
I was so honored to be a part of this project. Rob Jones has created a beautiful story of kindness, truth, and redemption. It has lovely illustrations to help bring it to life, but the words are truly magical.
Despite having to deal with his bully, Pete stays true to who he is. Not being a typical kid, he expects life to be harder, but he willingly accepts that to stay true to who he wants to be as a person, the art that brings him happiness, and to the way he wants to live his life. Through it all, he refuses to be less than who he is, including kind.
Pete’s kindness and self-love is inspiring. So much so that it offers a way for his bully to seek redemption for his mistakes. What a blessed gift!
This tale told in prose is engaging, emotional, and empowering. What a hopeful book to bring joy to children and inspiration to young people to embrace who they are, love others despite their flaws, and to just be the best you can be. WELL DONE!
