    • Modern-day Texas, the beautiful Texas Hill Country, to be exact.

• Who are you?
  • What is your name?
    • Mia Ellis
    Are you a fictional or historical character?
    • Fictional
    What’s your role in the story – are you the protagonist or a supporting character?
    • I am one of two main characters.
    Are you a human, animal, alien, robot, or something completely different?
    • Oh, I’m human, and my mistakes will prove it.
  • Do you consider yourself to be good, bad, or indifferent?  Would others agree with this assessment – why, or why not?
    • In my heart, I know that I am a good person, but somewhere deep in my soul, I worry about the truth of that. Jace Farr is the only man who has ever truly understood me, but our lives took very different paths.

• What do we need to know about you?
  • What is your personal goal?  I mean, what do you ultimately want?
    • I want to become a successful chef and own a restaurant.
    What is standing in your way?  What conflict(s) do you face?
    • I need time to learn more as an apprentice to the most highly regarded chefs in the nation, but just when the opportunity starts to come true, I am called home to care for my mother, who has been in a car accident. One day, I intend to become head chef and/or own my own restaurant.
    Why is this goal important to you?  What’s your motivation?
    • My life’s trajectory changed when the man I loved more than life itself rejected me. I grabbed onto the only other thing that made me feel worthy and appreciated, and that was cooking. I’m good at it, and the rewards for my dedication to it are finally within sight.
  • If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be, and why?
    • I wish I knew how to connect with my mother. We are so different, but she is my only parent, and I imagine that she is as lonely as me.

    • TASTEFULLY TEXAS was released in March 2023 as the first book in a new series titled “True Hearts of Texas.” The book is available everywhere, but it can be found easily on Amazon.
