Haunting and Sad
I didn’t know what to expect from this short story, but I’m glad I read it. It was interesting how the author formatted the tale and played into the human psyche. I felt Kayla’s anxiety, hoping for the best and being shocked by the actual ending.
I loved how intense the author wrote the story. Her descriptions were beautiful, and it drew me into the woods. My only criticism is that a vehicle cannot be shifted without the keys in the ignition…
I recommend this quick read. It’s original and a warning in a way. Well done!
