MEET MY CHARACTER

  • Tell us about your story:
    • When and where is your tale set?
      • It takes place in the Nineties, in a small town out in the middle of nowhere.
  • Who are you?
    • What is your name?
      • Casey
      Are you a fictional or historical character?
      • Fictional 
      What’s your role in the story – are you the protagonist or a supporting character?
      • I’m the one telling the story, but I’m really more of a supporting character. An observer, I guess.  
      Are you a human, animal, alien, robot, or something completely different?
      • Ha-ha. I’m human, man. Through and through. 
    • Do you consider yourself to be good, bad, or indifferent?  Would others agree with this assessment – why, or why not?
      • That’s a tough one. I want to be good, and I try to be good, but it’s hard in this town, you know?
  • What do we need to know about you?
    • What is your personal goal?  I mean, what do you ultimately want?
      • Ultimately, I’d love to leave this place and feel like I had the chance at a different life and future. 
      What is standing in your way?  What conflict(s) do you face?
      • I don’t have the money and hell, where would I even go? All I know is Stewartville. 
      Why is this goal important to you?  What’s your motivation?
      • Because here in Stewartville there’s only two choices: Be a prisoner or work for the prisons. And they both boil down to the same thing in the end. If I could go somewhere else, man I don’t even know what I’d do. Where to begin. 
    • If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be, and why?
      • I wish I were stronger, I guess. Sometimes I just feel like the pussy younger brother who just let’s shit happen because I’m too afraid if I make a choice, it’ll set my fate in stone. Sorry about my language, it’s a bad habit.
