National Aviation Day is celebrated on Orville Wright‘s birthday (August 19, 1871), and it occurs during National Aviation Week. This is a time meant to recognize and celebrate the pioneers of aviation – not just the aviators themselves, but the engineers, mechanics, and all the personnel that made human flight possible!
A great way to celebrate is to read. Read biographies or historical fiction. Dream with the innovators who dared to make the impossible reality!
