A Loving Series of Sweet Books
This book contains an adorable set of three books that encourage children. It does just as the title suggests; it inspires them during various stages of their early development.
Book 1 encourages kids to see they are perfect just the way God made them. Flaws are a part of being human, and it is okay. You are loved and beautiful.
Book 2 celebrates the achieves toddlers make as they gain independence. It encourages exploration while cautioning for safety. It is a very positive message.
Book 3 reminds kids that they are special. Everyone is unique and wonderous. It is our diversity that makes the world colorful and alive.
I highly recommend this trilogy. The vibrant illustrations will engage littles while the story will help develop a great sense of self in young readers. Just a charming series filled with love!.

A Horrible Death
I was introduced to Cassie in Karen’s novella, called The Killer on the Heath. It’s a dark, paranormal thriller, and you can read my review HERE. So, when I heard Karen had written several short stories in Cassie’s world, I had to read them.
In this title, we get a bit more background into Cassie’s life and how she survives as an empath and a clairvoyant. Seeing, and feeling, the emotional baggage of people who have died a horrible death can’t be easy. However, when Cassie is hired by a grieving mother to contact her deceased daughter, she discovers that true darkness lingers in the hearts of the living, not the dead.
This is the perfect read for people who love short stories with a bit of darkness and a look into the human psyche. I give it 5 stars.

A Great Little Tale To Make You Shudder
This is a short and rather terrifying story.
William Preston has a falling out with his sister and leaves in the cold dark night with a storm brewing. He soon becomes lost and this is where he meets Erasmus Barnes. What a great name that is!
The elderly man invites him into the boarded up bookshop to take shelter from the night.
What happens inside traps William into becoming a guardian of the cabinet.
The author has a such a way with words that you suddenly realise the story has taken a chilling turn. His descriptions paint a picture and it soon draws on your own fears.
If you are wondering about what the unassuming cabinet holds, it will not prepare you to face its contents.
I recommend the quick read story.
