Impressive Plot

I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next installment. The twists and turns were a delight. The thought put into such an interesting plot impressed me.

What I loved was the attention to detail. Not only did it pull the story together, but it made it believeable. No stone was left unturned, which gave a complete picture that satisfied me as a reader.

The characters were interesting and original. They were normal people who struggled with life… The unconditional friendship between Jane and Sadie was realistic as well as admirable. They were flawed, called each other out on their BS, but loved each other nonetheless.

Then there were the paranormal elements. The author’s choices were smart and tickled my love of history. Drawing on Inca culture was brilliant, lending richness and credibility to the tale.

I recommend this book. Readers who enjoy mysteries, women’s fiction, friendship stories, or paranormal suspense will want to grab a copy. It’s an entertaining read and a strong start to a promising series.
