National Spirit of ’45 Day

The Spirit of ’45 Day is about honoring the “can-do attitude” of the Greatest Generation. These are the brave ordinary heroes who endured the world wars, specifically WWII. We celebrate this observance in conjunction with V-J Day, which is when the armistice was signed in 1945, effectively ending the war. The hope is to continue instilling the same level of inspiration, perseverance, and sacrifice these Americans had in current and future generations.
