- What is the name of your book?
- Sunset Distortion: The Pyramid at the End of the World… Seems a bit much don’t you think? Perhaps just a little overly grand.
- What genre is it?
- Science Fiction…ish. Can’t a book about people in space be in a different genre? There’s really not much science in this one.
- When and where is your tale set?
- 2015… or at least that’s the Earth year. We hit a few planets in Olympian Space. Its actually not too far from my home planet. I should probably go visit sometime soon.

- What’s your role in the story – are you the protagonist or a supporting character?
- I’d like to say I’m the hero of my own story, but honestly I’m not surprised I’m the sidekick. Mum always said I was too gentle to be the one in charge.
- Are you a human, animal, alien, robot, or something completely different?
- I’m Dylypini, from the planet Dylypin. Lazer keeps calling me an octopus, but I’m not really sure what that is. It’s a silly comparison if you ask me, as far as I understand it, octopuses don’t float, I do. My body consists of a series of air filled chambers which help me levitate as I expel… Wait… are you seriously checking your phone right now? Rude.
- Do you consider yourself to be good, bad, or indifferent? Would others agree with this assessment – why, or why not?
- I try to be a good person, I don’t know. I was the accountant on a pirating vessel for a brief period, so maybe I’m a bad person just by association. I swear I never hurt anybody though. This pirate hook is just for punching numbers into my calculator. Maybe I can make amends somehow…

- What is your personal goal? I mean, what do you ultimately want?
- I don’t even know if I have goals. Is that bad? I guess I was sort of just floating through life… get it? No, nothing? Its ok, I’m used to disappointing people. I’m not employed anymore, so my career path is done, at least for now. Maybe my main goal now is to just make some friends. Maybe I’ll just move in back with my parents if things don’t pan out.
- What is standing in your way? What conflict(s) do you face?
- Everything. Nothing ever really seems to work out for me. Why is that?
- Why is this goal important to you? What’s your motivation?
- I’ve always been something of a quiet one. I guess I just need to put myself out there more. This Lazer fellow seems to tolerate me pretty well. Are we friends? I don’t know… maybe?
- If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be, and why?
- Oh, where to start… I wish I was braver. Faster. Stronger. Funnier. More popular… shall I keep going?
